Science behind wearing of janeu.
As you read in the above article that the janeu is worn over the left shoulder, now the question arises why it is worn over the left should only. The answer to this question is that on the left shoulder we have a energy channel or the energy path [in Ayurveda it is mentioned as Ida Nadi] which controls the left side of the body and right brain i.e. right Cerebral Hemisphere.

The right Cerebral hemisphere is responsible for controlling the knowledge, Mental ability and the Emotions of an individual. Since janeu is present over the left shoulder which keep on stimulating that energy path or energy channel due to which the ability of an individual to acquire the knowledge increases and also Helps in proper Mental and Emotional development of an individual.

Have you ever thought during Urination or Micturation why people roll their janeu around the right ear ????

Very soon the answer will be updated till then you can comment the answer.
