1) Metabolism: The the sum total of all the chemical reactions occurring inside the human body is called metabolism.
2) Catabolism: Breaking of complex molecules into simple ones e.g cellular respiration.
3) Anabolism:Synthesis of complex organic food material using simpler inorganic material is called anabolism e.g Photosynthesis

8) Herbarium: A the herbarium is essentially a dried plant specimen that is pressed, treated and mounted on standard size sheet in order to preserve it.
9) Label: On herbarium sheet, local names and name of the collector may be added. This information is given at the lower right corner of the sheet and is called ‘label’.
10) Botanical gardens: Botanical gardens are the places where plants of different varieties collected from different parts of the world, are grown in a scientific and systematic in an in-vivo manner.

18) Monograph: A detailed study written on single specialized biological group is called monograph.
19) Manual: It is descriptive information about the flora of any given geographical area.
20) Catalogue: List of all the species organise in a specific way (generally in alphabetical order) is Called catalogue.
21) Key: The taxonomical aid used for the classification of plants and animals are called a key. It is generally based on Some contrasting characters.
22) Lead: Each statement in the key is called a lead.
23) Biodiversity: The degree of variation of life forms in an ecosystem is called biodiversity.
